1. First, print these instructions with your current printer setup for reference later.

2. Then..... Click here to return to the previous screen.

3. In the upper left hand corner of your screen click "File".

4. Then click "Page Setup..."

5. Write down your current settings so you can put them back later.

6. Under "Margins [Inches}" change your setting to:

Top 0.50 Left 0.25

Bottom 0.50 Right 0.25

All boxes under "Header" and "Footer" should be checked.

7. Click "OK".

8. Go to the map you want to print.

9. Click the "Print" button on your task bar near the top of the screen. A "Print" window should appear.

10. Click the "Properties..." button.

11. Under the "Paper" tab there's a section titled "Orientation". In that section are the words "Portrait" and "Landscape". Click the word "Landscape". This will cause a black dot to appear beside the word "Landscape".

12. Now, at the bottom of this screen, click the "OK" button.

13. You should now have the "Print" window on the screen.

14. In the lower left of this screen is a section titled "Print range". In that section is a line that reads "Pages ... From____ to _____".

15. Click the box to the right of the word "to". This will cause the curser to appear in that box. Type the number 1 in that box.

16. Click the "OK" button to print your map.

17. For additional maps, follow steps 9, 10, 14 - 17, above.

18. When you've finished printing all the maps you want, follow steps 3 - 4, above, then change your settings back to what you wrote down (ie, what they were before you started this procedure).

19. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of this screen to close it.

20. There are two ways to reset your "Paper Orientation" back to "Portrait" (normal 8 1/2 X 11 printing).
...A. Shut down your computer and restart it. -- OR --
...B...1. Click the "Print" button on your task bar near the top of the screen.
............ A "Print" window should appear.
........2. Click the "Properties..." button.
........3. Under the "Paper" tab click the "Restore Defaults" button.
........4. At the bottom of this window, click the "OK" button.
........5. The "Print" window is uncovered.
........6. Turn your PRINTER off (Just your PRINTER).
........7. At the bottom of this window, click the "OK" button.
........8. Wait about 15 seconds or so. A "Printers Folder" window appears
............ that reads "There was an error...".
........9. At the bottom of this window is a "Cancel" button.
.......10. Click the "Cancel" button.
.......11. Wait about 10 seconds for these windows to go away.
.......12. Turn your PRINTER back on.
